Everywhere I go these days. Will it be Big Sky, or my own Old Mill/Downtown confabulation of 'cross features? It's all but a done deal that 'cross nationals will be held in January 2010 right here in my newly adopted hometown of Bend! I am excited.

Jon said I could break the news, because I want to scoop the Bend Bulletin, who called Don today to get the real story. Anyway, I'm sure the bid for Bend will be accepted. Bend is cyclocross mecca.

Had we held nationals this week, it would have been blizzarding on it, to the tune of a foot of snow. Better than Kansas, however, because there's no mud, less blood and many fewer tears for me, for sure.

I learned to skate ski today too, thanks to Don. He has amazing instructing skills.
